Lifeisokay13
This is a blog about me, what I do, what I like and other random stuff. When I started this blog, I wanted it to be a beauty and fashion blog, but that didn't happen. Beauty and fashion will still have a place on this blog though. If you decide to read my post, I thank you so much and I love you!!!!

Festival essentials
In a few weeks I am going to my first ever music festival and I am very excited. I checked out a lot of packing videos, and I figured out that these are the essentials that you must bring (okay the bracelets might not be an essential, but they look cool) I am going to sleep in a tent and live in a camp for about 8-9 days so it's going to be interesting, but (I'm hoping) very fun.
Festival essentials by lifeisokay13 featuring a voluminous mascara
First Aid Kit – Plasters, bandages, sterile wipes and the like are always handy.
Short - If you bring a pair of short then you are almost safe on the bottom of yourself. Short go with almost everything.
Sun Lotion – You get burnt quicker than you’d think. Remember that sun lotion need to be kept out of the sun.
Headgear – A cap, bandana or hat is always useful.
Waterproof mascara - Bring as little makeup as possible but for me the mascara is a must! Waterproof, we don't want panda eyes.
Dry shampoo - Even though there properly will be showers available it will definitely be handy with this on hand. You don't want to spend all your time showering.
Bracelets - They just look cool and laid back, the ultimate accessory, you don't want to bring anything expensive.
Sunnies – Keep your eyes happy. Outdoor stages can often be in front of the sun, leaving you blinded as you try to watch.
Warm sweater - even though it's summer, summer nights can be very cold. Keep yourself from freezing to death with a warm oversized sweater.
Cleansing wipes - Even during a music festival you need to remove your makeup at night. Cleansing wipes makes it very easy.
Wellies – Navigating huge mud marshes is harder than it looks and you will ruin your shoes or trainers, if you don’t take a pair.
Water - this one might seem weird but in the summer heat it is very important to stay hydrated!
Raincoat / Waterproofs – A must for danish festivals, you never know what’s going to happen with the weather. Venues are likely to sell ponchos anyway, but they can be thin, poorly made and expensive, so it’s better to take your own.
Condoms - you know, you might meet some cute guy and spend the night in his tent ;) Or maybe your friend forgot hers ;) Better be safe than sorry.
Comftable shoes - you will be walking a lot, and you will hurt your feet. Also bring some blister plasters, they will come in handy!
These things are not the only things you will need to bring but some essentials ;)
Many hugs and kisses! <3
P. S I'm in the middle of finals these weeks so the blog might be a little quiet ;)

Amazing Bran Muffins!!! #HealthyFood
Okay hi! I love food, and I bet that a lot of you guys do to, so today I thought I would share a semi healthy muffin recipe, with cinnamon, wheat bran and raisins. These where the ones my mom used to make for me when I did a whole day at the royal ballet, once a year. Now she makes them when my brother and I compete at tournaments. They taste amazing and they give you enough energy so that you can sit and wait for hours. This is the recipe you just have to have! It can be a rustic breakfast with both slow and fast carbs that lasts throughout the morning — the muffins are also excellent for snack time.
3 dl flour
3/4 dl wholemeal flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 ground cinnamon
200g unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 cups sour milk
3 1/2 dl wheat bran
3/4 cup raisins
Turn on the oven at 190 degrees Celsius.
Mix the flour, wholemeal flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl and set it aside for later.
Beat the butter a few minutes in a large bowl and stir then the brown sugar in.
Beat another minute and add the eggs.
Beat vigorously and then add the sour milk and half of the flour mixture.
Beat another minute and add the remaining flour mixture.
Finally, stir in the wheat bran and the raisins.
Grease your muffin tins and fill in the dough, almost up to the edge.
Bake them approximately 25-30 min, if it is large muffins or shorter if they are small. Check by inserting a toothpick into the center. The muffins are ready if it's clean.
Serve them warm with butter or jam. The muffins are also great on their own, and cold. They can also be frozen for later use.
I hope you enjoyed this recipe, please let me know if you tried them out. I'll talk to you late <3

My weekend in Dublin
Recently I spent a long weekend (Saturday, sunday and monday) in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. I had some karate lessons Saturday, and the entire sunday I spent at a karate tournament. Luckily I still had some time to spend in the city so me and my best friend went into the center of Dublin! We took a short walk in the shopping streets and had some tea :) In the city we (she) took lots of pictures, and I thought I would share some of them with you guys ;)
That was saturday after my training, so I was just wearing a sweatshirt, my army jacket and some black jeans. Saturday evening the whole danish team went out to dinner at a restaurant, and that was really nice. We woke up early sunday morning and then a bus drove us to the place where the tournament was being held. It was a long day, but I met this girl, Ally, she was really sweet and we talked a bit.
When we got home, we had a bit free time and then we all had dinner at the hotel.

Then the next day (monday) , my best friend went home really early so I didn't get to say goodbye :( I went into town with my family and got to do a bit of shopping, then we went to the airport and flew back home. Hope you enjoyed all the pictures.

My Carry on essentials + Airplane/Traveling Hair, Makeup,Outfit!
Lately I have been traveling by airplane quite a lot. Mostly short flights like 2-3 hours, and I have gotten my flight routine down so I thought I might share that with all of you. When it is a short flight I don't really bring much in my carry on, only a few necessities.
I always always bring my phone and some earphones, cause I will most likely just listen to music for the whole flight, but in case my ears get tired I like to bring a book, sometimes I will buy one in the airport, but otherwise I will just bring a book from home, at the moment I would pack "The perks of being a wallflower"(I know it is really bad that i haven't read it yet). I would also pack some warm socks and a cardigan, just in case it got cold on the plane. I was flying to Ireland this past weekend and I forgot a cardigan, I was freezing the whole time, I had to bundle up in my scarf and my moms scarf. Of cause I would also bring my money, passport and my boarding pass.
On my face (makeup wise) I usually just put on a bit of foundation (Rimmel Match Perfection), some eyebrow stuff (Mac cosmetics) and a bit of mascara (Lancôme Hypnôse).
In my opinion one of the most important things when you are traveling are staying comfy. That is why I properly would wear something like this on a flight.
The sweatpants are really cute paired with this top, and the scarf gives the outfit some colour. Some nice basic Converse to finish it off and you have the perfect traveling outfit. I hope that you enjoyed my post and I'll talk to you soon.
Much Love xxxx
