Festival essentials

In a few weeks I am going to my first ever music festival and I am very excited. I checked out a lot of packing videos, and I figured out that these are the essentials that you must bring (okay the bracelets might not be an essential, but they look cool) I am going to sleep in a tent and live in a camp for about 8-9 days so it's going to be interesting, but (I'm hoping) very fun.

Festival essentials

Festival essentials by lifeisokay13 featuring a voluminous mascara

First Aid Kit – Plasters, bandages, sterile wipes and the like are always handy.
Short - If you bring a pair of short then you are almost safe on the bottom of yourself. Short go with almost everything.
Sun Lotion – You get burnt quicker than you’d think. Remember that sun lotion need to be kept out of the sun.
Headgear – A cap, bandana or hat is always useful.
Waterproof mascara - Bring as little makeup as possible but for me the mascara is a must! Waterproof, we don't want panda eyes.
Dry shampoo - Even though there properly will be showers available it will definitely be handy with this on hand. You don't want to spend all your time showering.
Bracelets - They just look cool and laid back, the ultimate accessory, you don't want to bring anything expensive.
Sunnies – Keep your eyes happy. Outdoor stages can often be in front of the sun, leaving you blinded as you try to watch.
Warm sweater  - even though it's summer,  summer nights can be very cold. Keep yourself from freezing to death with a warm oversized sweater.
Cleansing wipes  - Even during a music festival you need to remove your makeup at night. Cleansing wipes makes it very easy.
Wellies – Navigating huge mud marshes is harder than it looks and you will ruin your shoes or trainers, if you don’t take a pair.
Water - this one might seem weird but in the summer heat it is very important to stay hydrated!
Raincoat / Waterproofs – A must for danish festivals, you never know what’s going to happen with the weather. Venues are likely to sell ponchos anyway, but they can be thin, poorly made and expensive, so it’s better to take your own.
Condoms - you know, you might meet some cute guy and spend the night in his tent ;) Or maybe your friend forgot hers ;) Better be safe than sorry.
Comftable shoes  - you will be walking a lot, and you will hurt your feet. Also bring some blister plasters, they will come in handy!

These things are not the only things you will need to bring but some essentials ;)
Many hugs and kisses! <3

P. S I'm in the middle of finals these weeks so the blog might be a little quiet ;)
