5 days in Geneva.

This past week I have been on a class trip to Geneva in Switzerland. Geneva is such an amazing and beautiful city. We went there mainly because that's where CERN is located. If you dosen't know what  CERN is, CERN's main function is to provide the particle accelerators and other infrastructure needed for high-energy physics research. What that means is that basically it's a the worlds larges (27 km-long) racetrack, for the worlds smallets racehorses (protons).
We had a tour of the main center and then we got to see one of the smaller accelerators, which was
really interesting.

A bit of the little accelerators,
Althoug CERN was the main focus at our trip, we also went to see some other attractions in Geneva, like the Jet d'eau. The Jet d'Eau is a large fountain in Geneva, and is one of the city's most famous landmarks. It is also one of the largest fountains in the world. The fountain shoots five hundred litres (132 gallons) of water per second into the air, the fountain are 140 metres (459 feet) tall.

I think I might to a post on each day I spent there. I had a great time there with some of my best friends, we went out to dinner every night and after dinner we usually ended up in a random bar. It was an amazing trip and I will properly remember it forever. But if I don't I will always have these posts to look back on.

I hope that all of you enjoyed my post on Geneva, I have alot more posts planned.
Love you all <3
